Rachel is a 2016 summa cum laude graduate of Kutztown University, where she completed her B.S. in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, Rachel spent five years teaching at Schuylkill Valley Elementary School in Berks County. During her time in education, she enjoyed the daily excitement of working with the children, as well as the collaboration with her fellow teachers. Rachel also learned a lot about effective communication, on the job flexibility, and creative problem-solving - skills that she looks forward to taking with her as she grows in her new role with Kylen Financials, Inc.
Rachel joined Kylen in August of 2021 as a Client Service Associate. She will be actively training and mentoring with the team to become Kylen’s Practice Manager. Rachel is currently working towards obtaining her Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license as well as her Series 7 and 66 registrations.
Outside of work, Rachel sings with a chamber choir called Vox Philia, which is based in Reading, PA.
When I was offered the chance to work at Kylen, I jumped at the opportunity. I was drawn in by Kylen’s emphasis on teaching financial literacy to ALL clients and the belief that every person should have access to financial planning resources. I feel grateful for the chance to learn and grow with the Kylen team.
