Ryan Egan is a 2014 summa cum laude Robert E. Cook Honors College graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his B.S. in Management (Eberly College of Business Honors Program) and B.A. in Economics (Economics Honors Track). Throughout college, Ryan was intrigued by the complexity of the financial world. Ryan has interned with numerous business institutions that have afforded him experience in a variety of areas, including marketing, arts management and commercial lending. During his senior year, Ryan worked in the wealth management division of a PA regional bank where he was responsible for conducting financial analysis in the Healthcare, Energy and Consumer Staples sectors. He developed company valuations and worked with portfolio managers in determining the investment worth of select companies – a challenging task, but one that allowed Ryan to apply his economics and business studies in real time.

Upon graduation, Ryan spent two years in Nashville as a middle school math teacher with Teach for America, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to grow and strengthen the movement towards educational equity and excellence in low-income communities. Ryan’s time in Nashville proved valuable as he transitioned to a career in the financial industry when he joined Kylen Financials in summer 2016 as the newest advisor.

Ryan is an Investment Adviser Representative of Cetera Advisor Networks LLC, with the Series 7 and 66 registrations, as well as his Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.

By combining my love for economics and business with my teaching experience, I found that my true passion is to develop and teach relevant financial content that will positively impact someone’s future.
